The Nester's Christmas Tour of Homes

I've enjoyed "touring" the homes that people link through The Nester before, but sinceI have a blog this time around, I decided to join in with the Nester's party and share our home in all its Christmas splendor! :-)

Christmas Tour of Homes with The Nester

A sample of our Christmas Decorations:

Our Living Room

The Living Room: Side 2 :-)

Nativity Set #1: Jim Shore

Nativity Set #2: Picked up a Peebles several years ago

Nativity Set #3: My favorite set because we purchased it while we were living in Papua, Indonesia. The whole set is made from coconuts and it's filled with great memories.

The Christmas Tree (prior to the red tree-skirt): This tree is covered with ornaments that we've picked up on our travels around the country and the world and they all have memories attached to them.

The Outside of our House

My Grandmother's (refinished) Secretary

Dining Room (looking into Library): I have our Christmas cards hanging on the greenery with a ribbon over the top and I LOVE it (it's new this year)!

Library: This is another new decoration this year, and I love how it looks when the candles are burning!

I'd like to end by saying that I love Christmas and I love having Christmas decor all over the house because it's so cheerful and cozy. However, let's keep in mind that Christmas is about Christ coming to earth as a baby - He is the Real Reason for the Season!

Blessings!
