After years of scoffing at the idea of boots, I have been converted 100% and wear my VC Fivvy or VC Beaus at least one day a week. Thanks to my Seestor for putting me on to them, and to the hubby for feeding a shoe fetish I didn't even know I had (boots).

The soundtrack to "Fiddler on the Roof" - I can't help singing along!

And while we're on the subject of music, I've got to recommend "Beyond The Sea" as sung by Robbie Williams. It doesn't matter what kind of day I've been having, that song never fails to put a smile on my face! You might recognize it from the end credits of Finding Nemo - the song is only available if you buy the Finding Nemo album (not as an MP3 download - unless you get the 28 minute track from Robbie's album that I linked to above).

Aleene's Original Tacky Glue is my go-to glue for a variety of craft projects. I'm no expert, I just know what I use, what works, and what has held together everything from fabric to wood. I was in Michael's over the holiday season and gagged when I saw that a bottle of the stuff was $8.99, because the price tag on the bottle I'm using says $1.44. Yes, I've had it that long and it still works. Love it.

I was in Target the other day looking for a daily planner (which I use as our financial tracker), and I came across these adorable notebooks. It was $2.99 for a pack of three (which isn't bad), and they are the perfect size to slip in a pocket or purse for on-the-go note taking. I love the colors and the cities on the covers, and they make writing down reminders or lists a lot more fun.

  2. My girlfriend bought those same little journals 2 weeks ago and is using one as a "gratitude" journal. They are just adorable!
