It's Peanuts for TPG

Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Pigpen, Snoopy. Charles M. Schultz created memorable characters that became ingrained in my childhood memories. I can't pass one of the major fall and winter holidays without thinking about (or watching) one of the classic Peanuts gang films. Halloween is coming up, and you can be sure that It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is on my list to watch.

I'll be honest, this video made me cry. Perhaps it's because I'm reminded of my long-gone grandparents. Maybe it's because I'm in the midst of watching my parents grow older. I like to think it's because God has given me an appreciation for human life, and a realization that growing old doesn't disqualify you from living that life. Each person on this earth has a purpose - young and old alike. I love seeing these delightful people perk up as they listen to The Piano Guys play a Charlie Brown Medley (available on Amazon).

What's YOUR favorite Peanuts film?

  1. I had seen this one earlier and thought it was great! They are so talented!!!! We always watch our Peanuts trilogy of the three holiday classics for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The boys love them; especially Snoopy! Good memories for me too, and it is fun to see my children enjoying things that i liked as a child.

    Love ya!

    1. Popcorn, toast, and jelly beans - who says that's not a Thanksgiving meal, eh? :)
