I will never forget where I was or what I was doing when I heard the news.

What about you?

We Remember
September 11, 2001

  1. I remember we were talking at the cabin when it happened. I still get a know in my stomach on this day, but know God is sovereign. That brings me much peace!

  2. It did not matter WHERE in the world one was, 9/11 affected all of us. My boss had just gone off on a well-deserved holiday with his family and we were frantically trying to contact him before he boarded the plane. Delhi was on alert and I got a call from the family to come home immediately.

A few years later, friends with family in New York told me how a last minute cancelled meeting saved a family member's life and I gave thanks that at least one life was saved for all the others that were lost to a global tragedy.

A reminder: there are more than 400,000 words in the English language, please use them wisely.
