Thankful For :: 311 - 320

I think I might be getting a stress-related ulcer. Self-diagnosed. {sigh} In other news, my prayer life as well as my quiet times with the Lord have grown by leaps and bounds over the last 9 weeks. God is good and He is faithful even when I feel like a pathetic little wimp.

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
--Lamentations 3:22 & 23--

311. God's faithfulness

312. Recalling the words of some great hymns

313. A husband who listens while I vent and never ceases to amaze me with his thoughtfulness.

Okay, I've got to brag on him here! Mid-week I'd been having some serious down-days. Mr. Wonderful drove me to work one night and then surprised me about half-way through my shift by showing up with ice cream bars for everyone where I work. Sweet, right? Then he told me he had picked up some pumpkin muffins for when I got home. Awww...but it gets better. He picked me up from work at 9:00 that night and when I walked into the bedroom there was a whole tea tray set-up, complete with a teapot full of hot water (and being kept warm by my tea light warmer) two mugs, a selection of teas, sweeteners, and two pumpkin muffins. To say he got some MAJOR brownie points would be an understatement. He knows me better than I know myself - I love that man!!

314. Remembering that in the grand scheme of things, most of the junk I'm worried about doesn't matter

316. Spending hours in front of a bonfire with a good book

317. Beautiful spring days

318. Getting a bit of a wardrobe change with the warmer weather

319. Going to bed at 8:30 - just because

320. Dreaming about picking plums in our own backyard
