Thankful For :: 551 - 560

“As long as the earth endures, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” {Genesis 8:22}

I don't know about where you live, but we are in the midst of some amazingly wonderful cool weather and have been blessed with rain after a very dry few weeks. This is the time of year that I love the best - it even smells like fall. LOVE. IT. Our house is becoming fall-i-fied, the pumpkin candles are burning when I'm at home (which hasn't been all that often these days), and we're trying out a bunch of new soup recipes. Did I mention that I love autumn?! Yeah, thought I might have, at least once or twice.

This week I'm thankful for...

551. Rain and cloudy, cozy days

552. Grace - from friends, family, co-workers, strangers, and most of all, from God

553. Pots of tea waiting for me when I get home from work - Peter is amazing

554. Bowls of steaming vegetable and bean soup

555. Spur-of-the-moment road trips

556. Getting sweet deals on gift certificates to local restaurants through Peter's employer

557. Our new couch - I don't know why we waited so long

558. Our new bed frame - ditto the above comment

559. Long holiday week-ends

560. A sense of humor

There's a story behind this photo...I might rant on about it another day.

  2. I found a can of pumpkin in our pantry this week and immediately thought of you. Last Fall you suggested I buy extra when I could because there were shortages in the Fall. :) Thanks for the tip!
