Thankful For :: 811 - 820

Day 6 of 6 - which means that at 7:01 tonight, I will have survived the week. Hooray! Yes, it has been hectic, but I have found that I am able to handle it better than I did a year ago, which I guess comes with getting more comfortable with the details of the job and with the understanding that it's not forever.

This week I'm thankful for ...

811. Dunkin' Donuts in festive green shades for St. Patrick's Day

812. Co-workers who are a joy to work with - even during difficult, stressful weeks

813. Free kitchen counter tops for the PH {happy dance}

814. Free queen-sized mattress set(s) for the PH

815. Extra lovin' from my sweetie

816. An unexpected dinner invitation after a long day at work

817. The opportunity to exercise my right to vote

818. The men and women over the course of history who have given their lives so that I have that freedom

819. Perspective: a difficult week at work doesn't = being sentenced to death for your faith

820. The beauty of living plants

What are YOU thankful for today?

  1. I am thankful for the 16 year old blogger who wrote about ingratitude this morning. It was amazing to hear such a wise perspective from such a young mind. And YOU...I'm thankful for YOU!

  3. Awww, thanks Lexi! Sounds like a pretty interesting post that you read.

    Molly - Free stuff from family members who are remodeling their kitchen (thus, the free kitchen countertops), and just purchased new mattresses for their boys to replace sets that still had plenty of use in them (especially for a rental property). :-)
