Thankful For :: 1101 - 1110

Lessons I learned this week:
It's helpful to take a step back and reevaluate what I spend my time doing
Life goes on, even though I don't blog every day
People are more important than anything else

This week I'm thankful for...

1101. Warm sweaters

1102. God's Word

1103. Heat-able wraps (perfect for my cold legs)

1104. Homemade soups

1105. The first wood fire of the season (& my parents for sharing their fireplace with us)

1106. Unexpected outings with a friend

1107. Hearing encouraging news from friends in a difficult situation

1108. The opportunity to bring people before the Lord through prayer - no matter what the circumstances

1109. Finding a work-life balance

1110. Surprise packages on my front step from a friend I haven't seen in years {happy dance}

PUMPKIN care packages - better still! {Thanks, Stephanie!}

What are YOU thankful for this week?

1 comment:

  1. 1108: yes, totally. Or no matter how well you know the person. We can always pray.

    Also, I'm grateful for a husband who stopped his homework long enough this morning to help me get back to sleep. And I'm thankful that, in the midst of a frustrating car search (why oh WHY does everyone want us to finance?!), we can rest in knowing that God's timing and provision is always perfect.

There are more than 400,000 words in the English language. My only request of you is this: Use them wisely.
