Thankful For :: 1201 - 1210

Lessons learned this week:
There is no guarantee on life
Fleece pajamas might be the best invention ever
God had incredible patience with the Israelites (read Numbers) - and He has incredible patience with me

I'm thankful for:

1201. This video - because it made me laugh

1202. The opportunity to pray for people - even people I don't know, but God does

1203. Being prayed for

1204. Christmas music

1205. The aforementioned fleece pajamas (an early Christmas gift from the hubby)

1206. Surprise gift cards to Dunkin' Donuts {happy dance}

1207. A spouse who believes in my abilities and gifts - more than I do

1208. Christmas movies (week-end watching: The Muppets Christmas Carol, The Grinch, & It's a Wonderful Life!)

1209. My family - immediate, extended, and in-lawed

1210. The birth of our Savior - so that we may also celebrate Resurrection Sunday

This is the final post from me this year, so please accept this as my virtual Christmas card to all of you.
Whether I continue blogging in 2013 or not, I'll be back after the New Year to let you know what I decide.
I appreciated all the comments - you certainly provided food for thought, so thank you.

  1. Carrie, I apologize for not commenting before. I will (of course!) be disappointed if you decide to slow/stop blogging, but I will fully understand that decision. My poor neglected blog is an indication of different priorities in my life, and I'm okay with that. I think making those decisions is important. All the best to you and Peter this Christmas and you unplugging time. :)

    Also, I LOVE that cat video. Jon sent it to me earlier this week.

  2. the ornament is a Hallmark Keepsake. I got it a few years back!

  3. Hope you decide to continue blogging in 2013 - but I'm praying for wisdom and peace whatever you decide. Have a wonderful Christmas!

  4. Happy Christmas to you both!! We hope and pray you have a wonderful start to the new year!
    Very clever little vid with the cats - heehee. Loved the voiceovers!

  5. This is probably the BEST holiday post I have read all season. Thankfulness. It wonderful, its contagious and causes great happiness.

    May the beauty, peace and joy of the season be yours all year long!
