The thought that keeps running through my head is, "everyone's doing it" - and yes, it might appear that I'm jumping on the bandwagon, but just for a week. And I'm not linking up anywhere (though there will be a link at the end of each post in case someone wants to link up here). I am not a fashion guru, nor do I bend to fashion trends. I am who I am and I have my own personal style. Some may say that I have no style at all. My mom has always said I dress "plain" - no stripes, no flowers, no frills or lace. I wrote about my "uniform" back in August, but now that it's a bit colder, my "uniform" has changed - mostly in length.
So anyway, I thought I would try something different and post a picture a day of what I'm wearing. Just five days (M-F) next week, and if you want to join me, you can say as little or as much as you want to about your outfit. Although I'm not into fashion, I enjoy watching "What Not To Wear" as much as the next girl and I like seeing what Kendi wears over on her blog (even though it's not exactly my style) and how a $1 dress can be transformed into something new, so why not join the frey for a week? We're all different and unique - what I wear is probably not what you want to wear and the other way around, so let's celebrate our individuality and (just maybe) pick up a new idea or two along the way. Anyone coming with me?
What I Wear :: October 18 - 22
Labels: A Style All My Own
C.S. Lewis once said, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." Dream BIG. After going "there and back again," The Hubs & I have created a home that is full of books, stimulating conversation, and the laughter of our five kids. We have been the recipients of Amazing Grace, and our life goals can be summed up in four words: Love God, love people.
