Fun Gift Idea

So, this really ties in with the post I did on Tuesday about Five UNDER $10, but since I'm done messing with that post (if you don't back-read, I added another photo), I decided to just do a quick individual post for this idea. Why? Because it's so easy, you can make three of them for $10, and I'm in love with the result.

Michael's currently has these adorable Christmas ornaments (and about 15 other styles) on sale - 3 for $10. Yes, 3/$10. I already had the photo paper and our printer still has ink, so all it took was a few minutes of my time to size, print and cut the photo to fit the ornament - voila! You have a personalized Christmas ornament - complete with the year for those of us who can't remember dates - for around $3.50. Would this not be so cute to do for each of your kids (to start their own ornament collection) or family members and friends? I picked a picture of us in front of our 2010 Christmas tree (prior to being cut), so that adds yet one more memory.

Bonus: Since I was doing some other Christmas photo projects at the same time, I was able to squeeze nine photos on one sheet of photo paper - hooray for multi-tasking that saves money!

If you're still in need of cute, but inexpensive, gift ideas, pop on over to Twig & Thistle and check out these absolutely amazing S'mores kits! I {heart} them and am going to start looking for boxes now to do these in the future.
