How To...Ebates

Normally I would do a book review today, but I've been sucked in by Ebates (where you can shop at Books-A-Million, Borders, CBD and more) and with Christmas coming up, I must share! I've talked about Ebates before, but since they are offering a bunch of bonus stuff now (like $50, a flip video camera, a trip to Hawaii, etc.) for signing people up, I'm taking advantage of the blog to promote it. I PROMISE it's worth it! I've gotten $172.50 back just for ordering things through Ebates this year (for us and for my parents). So, here's the 1, 2, 3 of how to do it and why I think it's worth doing:

1. Click on this link to Ebates to start the sign up process

2. Once you have signed up, you need to make a qualifying purchase of $25 or more and you can't return the purchase (the first purchase)

3. Start shopping - in your jammies (skip the hassle of going to the mall!), and earn money back from each purchase (different stores give different % back). So shopping in jammies, no fighting the mall parking lot, and getting coupons and money back sounds like a win-win-win to me!

Please note my "oooh, I see something I like" face...

NOTE: Make sure you head over to beth stone studio today for her weekly "Assignment" and check out the link-ups, including my post from Monday.

  1. I have friends who swear by Ebates but I haven't jumped into the pool myself. However, I LOVE the pictures of you browsing, especially the "ooooh, I see something I like" face. :)

  3. Okay, confession here. We own the "Phantom Tollbooth" and have never read it. I'm going to have to fish it out now!

  4. I'm pretty sure I've seen the "Oooo! I see something I like" face, too. :) Will definitely check this out. Also, for your friend, Kel, "The Phantom Tollbooth" was my absolute favorite book as a child. I finally had to buy a new copy a few years ago; my original copy literally fell apart.
