Sunshine vs. Sonshine

I was just notified that I had been given the Sunshine Award by a lovely woman (Town and Country Mom) whom I have never met but apparently reads my blog. I'm humbled and honored and reminded again that I need to be careful what I say on this blog as you never know who is going to read it. My desire is to bring sunshine (and laughter) into people's lives, but more importantly, to show the Sonshine of my Father in my life and my writing. So without further ado, here's the deal with the award...thanks again Mrs. T & C! :-)

Town & Country Mom says that the Sunshine Award is awarded to bloggers whose positivity and creativity inspire others in the blogging world. Wow! I'm not sure I'm up to that level yet, but I sure appreciate the vote of confidence! ;-) The rules, once this award is received, are as follows:

1. Post the logo on blog.
2. Pass the award on to 12 fellow bloggers.
3. Link the nominees
4. Let nominees know they have won this award by commenting on their blog.
5. Share the love and link to the person you received this award from.

I actually had a hard time coming up with 12 bloggers whom I read on a regular basis (I'm trying to be a better steward of my time), but I managed to pick a few blogs that I really enjoy reading. Please visit their sites to see what they have to say (and while you're at it, check out Town & Country Mom's blog as well - she has some great posts about her trip to Peru and her love of Target!).

I know some of these bloggers personally, but most of them I have never met except through their blogs. I do enjoy reading what they all have to say. Some offer money-saving tips and advice, others bring humor into my day, and a few of them offer beauty through art/pictures that help remind me that there is beauty all around us. For you ladies who I have picked, thanks for sharing your life on a blog. :-)
