Peter gagged when he found out how much it cost, but let me tell you, it's the last time I heard anything about the price - other than every year when the tree is up in mere seconds and he says, "Worth. Every. Cent." And, believe me, it is.
Even if you don't want to buy it for this year, just trust me on this one - put it in your Amazon cart and watch it for a while. When the price drops (and it will - you just have to catch it), order the thing in preparation for next year. You'll never look back.

ReplyDeleteIn my defense, I grew up in Phoenix, AZ where real trees were rare. And the families who did have a real tree did not put it up until Christmas Eve and took it down before New Years because of the fire hazard.
