Dear Fellow #Bookworms...

The picture below is of my stack of books that are either currently in process or waiting to be read. They are sitting atop my nightstand which is filled with more books in waiting. Don't preach to me about the beauty of using the library - books are my Achilles heel. Someone, please tell me I am not alone! Why only yesterday I had to tell myself NO! when I went to Amazon in search of this book, because enough is enough... for now.

Happy Friday!

  1. I feel much better now about my OWN to-read pile (and my aversion to the library and my corresponding book buying addiction)! Hope we BOTH get some time to read this weekend! :)

    1. Glorious - I'm not alone! :) Hey there, Jamie! Hope all is well with you and the family. And yes, I did get some time to read this weekend, though not enough! :)

  2. You are not alone and Amazon is one of my best book friends. Holding a book to read is one of my very favorite things. Some months ago a used bookstore was going out of business and one could buy a large paper sack of books for $7.00 and I ended up with 2 sacks......one sack had 50 paperback mystery books. Now if I could just figure out how to read and not eat chips at the same time!

There are more than 400,000 words in the English language. My only request of you is this: Use them wisely.
