Not all that long ago it was -3 here, so I should clarify: I'm not complaining about 34-degrees.
I had no idea what I was going to do for You Capture this week. How do you capture "Cold" without snow or ice? And then on Tuesday - hooray - we got a dusting of the white stuff and I ran outside to try to capture something cold. Since I didn't have a clue what I was going to submit for You Capture without snow, I'm fairly pleased with these photos. There was more accumulation this morning so I had one more opportunity to see what I could get before the link up (the final two photos are what I got). Make sure you check out what others are sharing this week over @I Should Be Folding Laundry. The theme may be cold, but I hope that wherever you are, you are staying warm! Happy Capturing!

We have been the recipients of Amazing Grace, and our life goals can be summed up in four words: Love God, love people.

Oooh! Good captures. I pretty much like them all :)ReplyDelete
Do you run your photos through any sort of editing? I'm just wondering because you could probably get the 2nd & 3rd photos to really pop with some touch ups. But be careful. It's addicting. I just got Adobe Lightroom so I can shoot in RAW format...it's changing my life lol.
I think the 2nd one is my favorite. I love that you can actually see little flakes of snow.ReplyDelete
I had to put on sweat shirt over my long sleeve after seeing all these cold entries of You Capture!ReplyDelete
I love the snow flakes. I hope you don't take it personally, but I pretty much hate you that your "cold" is 34 degrees. It is -7 here today. :)ReplyDelete
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Oh, I love the shot of the snow on your deck.ReplyDelete
-26 here today. Yes. NEGATIVE without the windchill. On the plus side (?) it only feels like -14.LOLReplyDelete
I love your shots, especially the snow on your deck. Great job!ReplyDelete
Great Captures...I love the 2nd one!ReplyDelete
I really like the texture in that second shot.ReplyDelete
Great pictures. I like the shot with the thermometer. Hopefully it will read some warmer temps soon.ReplyDelete
Nice shots. I especially like the one of your deck.ReplyDelete
I am sure going to miss seeing all these snow photos once the rest of the country catches up to our temps here. They are a good reminder of winter that seems to have missed me.ReplyDelete
Great cold shots! The snowy deck looks like a fuzzy sweater. I love the warm red bricks.ReplyDelete
Love the snow on your fence! So pretty!ReplyDelete
WOW - you rocked the cold shots :D I love that last one - the lighting is fantastic :DReplyDelete
Gorgeous shots! Very nice :)ReplyDelete
Hooray?! Well perhaps. Good that you were able to enjoyReplyDelete
Great pics! I really like the framing of the one with the thermometer.ReplyDelete
