You Capture...Cold

PhotobucketI had no idea what I was going to do for You Capture this week. How do you capture "Cold" without snow or ice? And then on Tuesday - hooray - we got a dusting of the white stuff and I ran outside to try to capture something cold. Since I didn't have a clue what I was going to submit for You Capture without snow, I'm fairly pleased with these photos. There was more accumulation this morning so I had one more opportunity to see what I could get before the link up (the final two photos are what I got). Make sure you check out what others are sharing this week over @I Should Be Folding Laundry. The theme may be cold, but I hope that wherever you are, you are staying warm! Happy Capturing!

Not all that long ago it was -3 here, so I should clarify: I'm not complaining about 34-degrees.

  1. Oooh! Good captures. I pretty much like them all :)

Do you run your photos through any sort of editing? I'm just wondering because you could probably get the 2nd & 3rd photos to really pop with some touch ups. But be careful. It's addicting. I just got Adobe Lightroom so I can shoot in RAW format...it's changing my life lol.

  2. I think the 2nd one is my favorite. I love that you can actually see little flakes of snow.

  4. I love the snow flakes. I hope you don't take it personally, but I pretty much hate you that your "cold" is 34 degrees. It is -7 here today. :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  12. I am sure going to miss seeing all these snow photos once the rest of the country catches up to our temps here. They are a good reminder of winter that seems to have missed me.
