Good Intentions

You might recall reading this post on January 18th and you might be wondering what happened to the follow up post on February 10th. Whether you remember that post or not...consider this your update. Ever heard the proverb about the road to hell being paved with good intentions? Well, I'm not saying I'm paving the road to hell, but I certainly had some good intentions (and absolutely no job) when I wrote that post back in January.

So what happened to stop me from following through? Outside employment. I had every intention of checking off that list, but honestly, by the time I get home in the evening (one night last week it was after 10 PM when I finally straggled in the door) the last thing I feel like doing is cooking one of Julia's recipes or heading out for some sushi or taking a scuba lesson in a local pool. So the list is still around, but the items are going into my Bucket List and if any of them are done prior to December 10, 2011 - let the {happy dance} ensue. In the meantime, my list of things I'd like to get done looks more like this:

Wear clean clothes
Control the dust bunnies
Make cleaning the toilet a priority
Have something to eat every night
Don't allow the dirty dishes to pile up

...A Bonus Day Would Include...

Trying to read a chapter or two of a book before I fall asleep

Aim high, right?

Outside employment is rough, chica. Hang in there! You'll get a schedule down.
